SHORE SIGNING ON: SENIORS £5.00 JUNIORS £2.00 (INCLUSIVE OF £1.00 OPTIONAL POOL). To be paid to signing on officer up to 1 hour before the start of any competition. Late arrivals can notify any committee member or signing on officer and pay fee at end. Please ensure you are signed on before you start fishing.
Shore teams: Members wishing to enter the teams competition must give their Names to the records officer. Teams of 3 will be drawn from the hat at the weigh in of the 3rd shore competition. Team names will then be drawn by team captain so that all in team will know their team name which will be used for the rest of the year.
Weighing in: All weigh ins on shore competitions will be at the signing on point with the scales being open for 30 minutes after the finishing time stated. The following comps will have the scales open for 45 minutes to allow for members to get back. They are :- West Bexington, Ringstead, Warsash, Hurst Shingle Bank. On the Rover all members must be in the car park by the finish time and in queue to weigh in unless in the event of an emergency fish can be left with another member to be weighed in. Any late arrivals will not be allowed to weigh in. Fishing is to metric size limits (printed over the page) and angling trust rules. We are now fishing 2 rods with three hooks between them. Both rods to be on one rod rest only. Committee have powers to declare certain comps one rod only. For a full set of angling trust & club rules please see the Hon secretary. Summer shore pairs:- this will run from the 5th June Hythe match until 22nd October Eastney match. It will be run to a points per species system. 1st 5 of all species points awarded as shown, 6 and above of any species awarded half points shown. Points sheet available from Gavin Priday or Rob Cooke. Cost of pairs will be £5 paid in full before pairs start. All entries & monies to Gavin Priday or Rob Cooke by 14th May Aldwick match.
